Ausome Programs

"The core of each program presents life encounters, executive functioning and self advocacy skills. Participants enjoy a variety of fun community outings that they choose. Our programs provide the individual an opportunity to socialize and explore with their neurodivergent peers where they are free to be themselves without the expectation of masking.”

Buddies Group:

Our Buddies program, which is a weekly after school program, is designed for individuals on the Autism Spectrum, ages 6-11.

Unique to the Buddies program is having a Teen in Residence at each session to support, and model from a lived, life experience perspective. The Buddies group also allows its participants to make and keep genuine friendships.

Teen in Residence:

Our Teen in Residence (TIR) program is totally unique!

This program allows Neurodivergent teens to work alongside a group facilitator, as a peer advocate in the younger groups.  This is a paid position and the TIR gains specific employment experiences in a field they themselves are experts in.

Our TIRs are amazing self advocates and are challenged to embrace and celebrate their diagnosis.  They also receive continued support from a facilitator/mentor.

Participants are selected by the Ausome Adventures team based on suitability.
